Jeff is the managing director of the Schult ownership group and operates as CEO and President for the company. Mr. Journagan has a sales and sales management background across multiple industries varying in scale from small entrepreneurial ventures to large corporations. Prior to Schult and while working at NCN, Mr. Journagan first served as Senior Vice President of Operations and then assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Sales. Mr. Journagan currently oversees Schult's day-to-day sales force activities. He has been with Schult Industries since 2003.
Mike began his career in 1988 with Gardiner & Company, PC, a regional public accounting firm based in Des Moines, IA. Gardiner & Company maintained offices in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
In 1992, Mike was hired as Accounting Manager for the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care, a $35 million physician peer review company headquartered in West Des Moines, IA. His responsibilities included supervision of all accounting functions for the company, including internal and external reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and operating policies and procedures training. He also served as Controller for Q-A, Inc., an IFMC partially-owned company.
Mike was hired in 1996 as Vice President of Accounting and Administration by National Cinema Network. Based in Kansas City, MO, NCN, with annual revenues of $70 million, provided in-theatre advertising to numerous theatre circuits in the US and Canada. NCN was a 100%-owned subsidiary of AMC Entertainment, Inc. Responsibilities included management of human resources, supervision of all accounting and financial reporting, contracts, product trafficking, and office management.
In 2003, Mike was hired as part-owner and Chief Financial Officer at Schult Industries. Mike is responsible for all financial, accounting, and administrative functions for the business.
